Off Label
The most interesting conversations in healthcare usually happen after the meeting ends.
- What really worked.
- What didn't.
- The decisions that were harder than they looked.
- The things they'd do differently.
- And where they think healthcare goes next.
That's the conversation I want to have.
Why I'm doing this
I've sat in a lot of rooms where everyone could see the plan wasn't working, and nobody said so.
Nobody was lying. It just wasn't the room for it.
So I'm not going to ask you about the wins.
Those answers are always ready.
I'd rather hear about the year that took more out of you than you expected, and what you were left holding at the end of it.
That part almost never gets recorded. I think it's the part worth recording.

- What has worked better than you expected - and what quietly hasn't?
- Which decision looked obvious from the outside and was nothing like that from where you sat?

- What needs to change in the next few years that nobody is moving fast enough on?
And the human story
- Was there a moment you wondered whether you were the right person to do this?
- A call you weren't comfortable with, but made anyway.
- What would you do differently, knowing what you know now?
No rehearsed answers. Nothing you're uncomfortable sharing.
We don't need names, companies, or anything that belongs to someone else. You decide how much goes in.

A little about me
I'm Anita. Eighteen years in commercial healthcare, across Abbott, Amgen, Mundipharma, Novartis and Cipla. The US, India, Switzerland, Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, and now the Gulf.
Most of it happened where the manual runs out. Building commercial teams, opening markets nobody had a template for, working it out while we were already moving.
The conversations that changed how I work happened in corridors.
Over coffee. In the back of a taxi.
When someone finally said the thing they had left out of the presentation.
OffLabel is where I put a few of those conversations.
I'm based in Dubai, with an MSc in Biochemistry from the University of Mumbai, an MBA from Rutgers, and a patent with my name on it.
